Angela Datre is a photographer from New York specializing in
music, portrait, and event photography but is always willing to
shoot something new.
Her passion for music photography is apparent in the numerous
musicians she has captured over the years, genres ranging from
punk and hardcore to pop and hip hop. She has photographed
Warped Tour, the Bamboozle Roadshow, the CMJ Music
Marathon, and recently, the Punk Rock Music Festival in Nevada.
She has photographed for magazines such as The Source, Wonka
Vision, Define the Meaning, Ultimate Athlete, and Good Times.
In addition, her work has been featured on the websites for
magazines like Blender, Spin, Alternative Press, and Venus Zine.
Angela has covered events for WMJC Radio, Sandbox Marketing,
Guestofaguest.com, and Adelphi University's Performing Arts
Center, Athletic Center, and Media Relations departments.
Recently her photograph was featured on the cover of author
James Hyne's new novel Next, which was published by Little Brown
and Co. The book cover was chosen as one of AIGA's 50
Books/50 Covers winners and will be exhibited in the AIGA
National Design Center in Manhattan and become part of the
collections at the Denver Art Museum and Columbia University.
